Courteney Cox posts touching tribute to Johnny McDaid – as they continue to live apart

The couple celebrated his birthday over Zoom on Friday

Courteney Cox has posted a touching tribute to Johnny McDaid, as the couple continue to live apart due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The American actress and the Irish musician, who have been dating on-and-off since 2013, celebrated Johnny’s 43rd birthday over Zoom on Friday.

Taking to Instagram, the Friends star shared a screenshot of their Zoom date, and wrote: “It’s been 133 days since we were last together. Covid sucks.”

“Happy Birthday J. I loved our lunch/dinner (LA/London time) zoom date today.”

“I miss you madly. ♥️♥️♥️ ” Courteney added, alongside the hashtag #myone.

Back in May, Courteney admitted she was finding it “hard” being separated from the Snow Patrol rocker.

During an appearance on Ellen At Home, the 56-year-old said: “I have not seen him for so long.”

“We spend a lot of time on FaceTime, but I just miss his physical touch. It’s been hard, it’s been the longest time.”

Johnny is currently living in the UK, while Courtney is quarantining with her daughter Coco at their home in Malibu, California.

The couple, who were introduced by mutual pal Ed Sheeran in 2013, split one year after they got engaged in 2014 – but they later rekindled their romance.

During an appearance on The Ellen Show last year, Courtney confirmed that her relationship with Johnny was much better ever since they called off their engagement.

During the latest episode of #GossChats, social media star and TV presenter James Patrice addresses the recent cancellation of Dancing With The Stars, being single during lockdown and creating viral hits with his family.
