“Conor is a great father and a fiercely loyal friend, and one of the best athletes in the world.”

“He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible.”

The violent incident after a UFC223 media event in the Barclay Centre left fighters injured after McGregor attacked their bus leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest.

He subsequently handed himself in to police in Brooklyn and was in custody until his court hearing, which was broadcast in full online.

June 14th is his next court date in New York but he is allowed to return home before that.

Celebrities began sharing their support for him yesterday.
