Conor McGregor refuses to press charges against Khabib Nurmagomedov after post-fight brawl

Conor McGregor has refused to press charges against Khabib Nurmagomedov after their post-fight brawl.

The MMA star was defeated by the Russian fighter at UFC 223, but it was the aftermath of the fight which caught the attention of the world.

After the highly-anticipated fight ended, Khabib jumped over the octagon and proceeded to attack Conor McGregor’s teammate, Dillon Danis.

While that brawl was going on, several of Khabib’s teammates attacked Conor while in the octagon.

Since the brawl, Dana White announced that three of the Russian’s fighter’s teammates were arrested and “on their way to jail.”

It has also been revealed that the Crumlin native does not want to press charges against Khabib and his team following the unexpected attack.

“Conor was one of the guys who was attacked and things like that and Conor refused to press charges,” Dana said.

“They went to Conor McGregor to press charges and McGregor said he would not press charges so they were released,” he continued.

Dana revealed that the 30-year-old did not care about the attack as he was only thinking about the actual fight.

“He’s OK. He’s upset about the fight but not about that [the attack],” he told the press.

The President of the UFC also revealed that Khabib’s payment for the fight has been withheld by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
