Conor McGregor urges Dublin City Council to sign off on houses he built for homeless

Conor McGregor is calling on Dublin City Council to “sign on” off on a new housing development he built for the homeless.

Last May the UFC champion had revealed he had helped build eight 3-bedroom houses, that were “designated for families that currently reside in hotels around the capital without a home to call their own.”

Now the father-of-two says the development is ready, and he is urging the City Council to allow the families to move in as soon as possible.

“Waiting on Dublin City council to sign off here,” he wrote on Twitter.

“These impeccably built homes are now ready for tenants to move in. Please DCC, sign off on these. We have people without residence eagerly awaiting to move in. We are built and ready to go. Thank you,” he added.
As well as trying to ensure these homeless families get into their new homes during the Coronavirus pandemic, the Proper No. Twelve founder has also donated to the Irish health care system.
Conor, 31, gave €1 million euro worth of medical equipment to Irish hospitals last month and pledged to do more.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis in Ireland, the August McGregor owner has urged the government to go into lockdown early and to close our airports until the pandemic is over.

On this week’s episode of The Gosscast we’re talking about celebrities who are donating their millions to help in the Coronavirus crisis and the serious drama on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
