Conor McGregor just donated €10,000 to an Irish boy who needs life-changing surgery

Although he’s busy preparing for his huge return to the UFC next week – Conor McGregor made time to do something incredible this week.

The MMA champion is currently training in Las Vegas ahead of his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov on October 6th, but heard the plight of a young Irish boy.

Five-year-old Bryan Buckley got sepsis last year and is now unable to walk or eat. His mother Grainne has been fundraising on GoFundMe for life-changing surgery.

Grainne had spoken to politicians and newspapers about the surgery, which would cost €10,000 – money she didn’t have.

But this Conor secretly donated €10,000 to the campaign.

Although he marked the donation as anonymous, the GoFundMe platform messaged Grainne with the full name of the doner.

Taking to Twitter Grainne shared her delight, tweeting the Dublin businesmman.

“We are forever grateful. I will never forget what u have done for my boy u truly are a legend,” she wrote.

Speaking to Goss.ie, Grainne revealed that the MMA star had changed her son’s life.
