“I’m very happy anyway, thanks to my kids. But I don’t believe there’s just one person in the world for everyone. With eight billion people, that search could take a while!”

Colin has two children and enjoyed filming True Detective in Los Angeles, because he was closer to his boys.

“It was great seeing them after work,” he beamed.

Although Colin continues to get casted as a gun wielding character he admitted he hates weapons.

“I’ve played a cop at least 15 times. Even though I hate weapons and don’t think much of the police badge,” he told German Magazine TV Movie.

The Dublin native also revealed he found a new thrill being in a TV show instead of a movie.

“TV takes a lot more risks these days, much more so than the film industry. A movie just can’t keep up with a whole series.”
