Cillian Murphy splashes out €1.7 million on new Dublin home

Actor Cillian Murphy has paid big cash for a new home in Dublin.

The Inception star has reportedly bought a luxury home in Monkstown, worth €1,695,000.

According to the Sherry Fitzgerald website, Cillian’s new pad is an “elegant and comfortable home” and an “excellent example of a Victorian terraced residence.

Cillian, 38, has been living  in London with wife Yvonne McGuinness and their two sons Malachy and Aran.

The house was being sold by Sherry FitzGerald on Belgrave Square North.

The estate agent described the house on its website as being an “elegant and comfortable home”.

The new purchase in Monkstown may just be an investment, but has six double bedrooms as well as a drawing room, if he intends to bring over his family too.

According to the Herald the Batman Begins actor recently purchased the home for the asking price.
