Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty share loved-up snaps from family holiday

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty looked more loved up than ever as they shared photos from their holiday in the South of France this week.

The pair are taking some much needed time off while Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle fill in for Cat and her co-host Ben Shephard on This Morning.

The couple, who first met when they co-hosted Fame Academy in 2002, have been married since 2012.

The couple were joined by their two sons, Miles, 8,  James, 6.

In pictures shared on Cat’s Instagram, the mother-of-two was seen building sandcastles with their boys.

In another snap, Patrick is seen planting a romantic kiss on his wife’s cheek.

The couple are holidaying in Saint Tropez, spending time with their sons and Cat’s parents.

“Fun in the sun… Making memories South of France style,” she captioned her post.

Their getaway comes after Cat spoke about Patrick’s terrifying health scare with Dr Sara Kayat and her co-host Ben Shephard on This Morning.

Dr Kayat revealed that one in three adults will get shingles in their lifetime.

While the trio discussed the symptoms of shingles, which can be difficult to identify, Cat revealed Patrick had the virus.

Cat explained: “So, my husband’s got it, at the moment, and one of the things was… he didn’t know what the symptoms were. Or, he didn’t spot them. He actually thought he’d got fibreglass in his face.”

“Because he’d been shifting things at the house that’s under construction at the moment. And then, he thought he’d touched his face.”

She continued, “So, he’d got like this burning, tingling, stinging sensation, but that’s what he thought it was.”

At Cat’s request, Sara told viewers the symptoms of shingles.

She said: “Firstly you tend to get this tingly, burning sensation.”

“You may also notice you’re feeling more fatigued – you’ve got a headache, you’re tired. You might even have a bit of a temperature.”

“A few days later you can start to develop a blotchy rash and then that develops into fluid-filled blisters, which start to crust over and scab away.”

Cat added: “They can be on the trunk of your body. [Patrick] has got them on his face, actually!”

In May, Cat made a shocking bedroom confession while she and Ben were discussing whether or not separate bedrooms are the key to a happy marriage.

She explained: “It’s one of those things that because of our schedule here [This Morning], from Monday to Thursday I sleep in the guest bedroom and the rest of the time I’m back. Because otherwise I get up at 5 am and I want to fall asleep earlier.”
