Irish actress Caroline Morahan has been living in LA since 2009, and now the Dubliner is lifting the lid on life in Hollywood.
The former Off The Rails host has revealed living in the celebrity bubble has its ups and downs.
Caroline, 36, said people in LA are obsessed with how they look.
“Looking good is an LA obsession and there are no ends to the lengths people will go to. Intensive workouts, master cleanses, invasive surgeries.”

“Health fads are born and sworn by here.”
“Whenever I throw a party, I factor into the numbers that at least 10% of invitees won’t be able to show because they’ll be on ‘a cleanse’,” she explained.
Speaking to the Sunday Independent, Caroline even compared gym goers to people in Coppers, and admitted she hated the latest gym craze, Cardio Barre.
“There are as many gyms in LA as there are pubs in Ireland.And many gym-goers wear more makeup than you’d see on a Saturday night in Coppers.”

“After 10 minutes (of cardio barre), I wanted to shoot myself in the face,” she said.
“A sentiment not shared by actress devotees Minnie Driver and Isla Fisher, who were both regulars in my class.
“The class involves a series of extreme balletic leg lifts and movements in quick succession with techno music blaring.
“I’ve encountered car alarms with more musical appeal,” she explained.
