Bridget And Eamon hits the US with SUBTITLES

Bridget And Eamon has hit the U.S. – and they’ve added on subtitles.

The show, which stars Bernard O’Shea and Jennifer Zamparelli, is available for fans overseas to watch on steaming site Hulu.

However, Jennifer admitted that some people had to use the subtitle option because they “couldn’t understand what was going on.”

The show has received high praise in Ireland and recently went over to the UK where it also went down a treat.

“I’ve been getting tweets from people saying, ‘I had to turn on the subtitles,'” she told The Herald.

“It’s amazing. We don’t care if they put it into a bottle and send it to America, we just want to get the introduction over there, it’s great.

“Look at Mrs Brown’s Boys and the success of that? So I think I kind of knew it could [do well outside Ireland].”

Bridget And Eamon first aired on RTE2’s Republic Of Telly, which has been axed from RTE.
