Bressie has spoken about his struggle to get through his break up from model Roz Purcell.
The Blizzards frontman and the Tipperary beauty called it quits this summer, and Bressie has admitted he’s found the last few months tough.
Writing on his mental health website alustforlife.com the Mental Health advocate said he hasn’t been the easiest to be around since splitting from the former Miss Universe Ireland.

In a very open and honest blog post titled ‘F*** Failure’ Bressie thanked the people closest to him for helping him through a rough few months.
“I can openly say the last few months have been very difficult for me,” he wrote.
“Having gone through a break up and the usual life stresses that inevitably visit every now and again and I have so much pride in myself for how I managed to maintain my focus and headspace during this time.
“I can’t say I have been the easiest person to be around but I kept myself together and leaned on the people who no matter what have always been the emotional scaffolding I have needed, which I am so grateful for,” he explained.
Bressie is currently training for Ironman 2016.
