Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge trumps Pat Kenny Tonight

Brendan O’Connor’s Cutting Edge has trumped Pat Kenny Tonight in the ratings war.

The RTE show returned to our screens this week with host Brendan O’Connor chatting to Can’t Cope Won’t Cope creator Stephanie Preissner, presenter Norah Casey and rugby pundit George Hook.

Results have shown that the Cork native’s show brought in almost three times as many viewers as Pat’s did.

A cut above the rest: Cutting Edge had more viewers watching than Pat Kenny Tonight | TV3

According to the Irish Sun, Cutting Edge achieved it’s highest ratings yet with 287,000 viewers tuning in to watch.

Unfortunately the TV3 prime time show didn’t quite make the cut with just 100,000 people were watching.

Brendan admitted the Goss.ie after his show’s IFTA win that he thinks presenters are “idiots who front TV shows”.
