Up-and-coming actress Eve Hewson has admitted she is awful at singer – despite being Bono’s daughter.
The Dublin star insisted she won’t be bagging a role in a musical despite quickly rising in the acting world.
“I’m so bad at singing. I’m sorry. I’m letting everyone down,” she said. “Everyone’s asking me that question. I really can’t, I can’t hit a note.”
Now Eve is set to be seen in Steven Soderbergh-directed TV series The Knick, which is expected to make her a huge name in the States.

But the 23-year-old is glad she grew up away from Tinseltown and the horrible US world of showbiz.
“I grew up in Dublin so I was lucky that I wasn’t in a culture that was sort of obsessed with celebrity anyway,” she said.
“I think it would’ve been harder for me if I grew up in London and Los Angeles where there are like paparazzi and, you know, it’s sort of more about the scene.

“I went to college and I studied acting. And I really wanted to learn about it because I respected it.
“But I didn’t know that much. And I wanted to know about theatre. It just worked out. It’s been working out well.”
However Eve is glad that she was managed to grab such a huge role on The Knick – playing young nurse Lucy Elkins – which is set in a 1990s New York hospital.
