Bono has issued a personal thank you to the two women who rushed to his aid after he was seriously injured in a bike accident last year.
The Dublin singer invited the two women, named as Alicia and Ann to a U2 show in Denver, Colorado as a thank you for helping him.
The rock star gave the ladies a personal shout-out on stage and told the arena that: “two girls from Denver played a really important role in my life.”

The 55-year-old told the crowd that when he hell in Central Park, Alicia and Ann told him “to sit your ass down till the ambulance get here.”
They called 911 and stayed with the U2 frontman until the paramedics arrived and he was rushed to hospital.
Bono suffered several injuries after the nasty fall that included a shattered shoulder bone and his arm bone was left “protruding through his skin.”

Meanwhile, the Finglas native is expected to jet into Ireland this week to pay his final respects at the funeral of the band’s tour manager, Dennis Sheehan.
Bono has been showing off his generous side lately and recenty gave a $150 tip to a lucky waitress who served him in LA.
