Bets are already starting on RTE’s Dancing With The Stars – and here’s who is in the lead

The full line up for season two of Dancing with the Stars was finally revealed at the weekend, and speculation over who’s the favorite to win has already begun.

On The Late Late Show on Friday night, GAA Correspondent and commentator Marty Morrissey, entrepreneur Norah Casey and former fitness model Erin McGregor joined host Ryan Tubridy to talk about the show and how the pro dancers are putting them through their paces in training.

Bernard O’Shea, Deirdre O’Kane, Maia Dunphy, Jake Carter, Rob Heffernan, Anna Geary, Tomás O’Leary, and Aoife Walsh have also been revealed as contestants on the dancing show.

And, the odds on favorite to win is not who you’d expect.

Marty Morrissey, 59, has been tipped as the early favorite to take the crown on Dancing With The Stars Ireland.

However, Cork camogie star and former Cork Rose , Anna Geary isn’t far behind him at at a price of 5/1.
Nathan Carter’s little brother has been given a price of 6/1 to win while RTE 2FM presenter Bernard O’Shea is at 5/1.
Munster rugby legend Tomás O’Leary, 34 is the least favorite to win the series at 14/1.
Other contestants  Erin McGregor, Rob Heffernan and Aoife Walsh have been priced at 9/1 , 12/1 and 8/1 respectively.

Norah Casey and Deirdre O’Kane  have been priced at 15/2 apiece while Maia Dunphy  is at 10/1.

Dancing with the Stars will air on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from 6.30pm Sunday 7th January.
