Bernie Sanders will come to Dublin for the first time next month.
The American politician will sit down for ‘An Evening with Bernie Sanders’ at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, which will be hosted by David McWilliams.
Bernie, who is the longest serving Independent in US congressional history, will visit Dublin as part of the Dalkey Book Festival off the back of his best-selling book Our Revolution.
The event will take place on Sunday, June 4, and tickets go on sale on Friday, April 28 at 9am.
Festival director Sian Smyth said, “It is an extraordinary privilege for the Dalkey Book Festival to host Bernie Sanders, we are truly delighted to bring him to Ireland for the first time.
“He is an iconic political figure of our time, a stunning orator and with such turmoil in the US and globally we are very much looking forward to hearing his thoughts and insights.”
Tickets are priced from €15 which includes a copy of his book ‘Our Revolution: a future to believe in’, and will be available to purchase from Ticketmaster.
