Businesswoman Pamela Uddin has left her job, to focus on becoming an entrepreneur.

Pamela, 24, made waves when she starred in the last series of BBC’s The Apprentice, and now she wants to make a name for herself in the business world.

“I left my job three weeks ago,” she revealed.

“I made the decision shortly after Christmas. I realised that if I was to be the entrepreneur I said I was going to be, I needed to make the move.”

New focus: Pamela has quit her job

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror Pamela said she wants to continue to work dyslexia, after suffering from it herself as well as a stutter, for which she was bullied for.

The Waterford native will now focus solely on her consulting company which develops policies to help those with learning disabilities.

“I was working for L’Oreal and that’s when I realised that my dyslexia still affected me in my work environment just as it did in school.

“I wasn’t expecting that and I wondered how many other dyslexics felt the same way, and weren’t sure who to turn to for help.

“That’s what pushed me forward to develop my business idea and go on The Apprentice.”

“When I was growing up, it was very much a case that if you had a learning disability, you were cast as stupid or put in
an environment that made you feel like you are stupid,” she added.
