Aoibhin Garrihy and John Burke gush over their baby girl in first family photo

Aoibhin Garrihy and John Burke have shared their first family photo with newborn Hanorah.

The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Hanorah, on Wednesday – and they’ve been doting over their daughter ever since.

Sharing the first photo of the three of them together, Aoibhin wrote, “First family photo and she stole my look and wore it better!!”

“Hanorah fell in love with all the views at the @armadaspanishpoint today when she visited her dad at work…but we’re up and out! #whereelse #dayfour #hurrah.”

It’s been a busy for days for Aoibhin and her baby girl, as they spent time with Hanorah’s new aunties Doireann and Ailbhe yesterday. 

Meanwhile, new dad John shared an adorable snap of Hanorah already sporting the Clare colours at just four days old in a baby grow that reads, “50% Mammy, 50% Daddy, 100% Clare.”

John has also revealed the reason they picked the name Hanorah.

When asked, “Is Hanorah a family name?” on his Instagram, the proud dad replied, “Yes it goes back on both sides of the family.”

With a big weekend of sport for the Clare teams Hanorah has well and truly nailed her colours to the mast! Hard luck to the footballers yesterday what a powerful and committed team and management that we are lucky to have represent us, and best of luck to the hurlers today in Thurles. It was a such a massive honour to speak with both teams during the year. @podgecollins_ seemed pretty impressed with Hanorah’s advice when they met on her arrival back to Clare. She will be screaming and shouting loud again today, I assume it’s for the game again!!
