RTE legend Anne Doyle has told how she is grateful not to have to give a speech at Aengus Mac Grianna’s wedding this weekend.
The ex-Montrose newsreader will be walking the Celebrity Masterchef star down the aisle on Sunday.
The 49-year-old and llama farmer partner Terry are tying the knot in a humanist
ceremony in Ballymagarvery village, Co Meath.
And Anne said: “It will be a wonderful day and I’m absolutely thrilled for them both.

“I’m not giving a speech thanks be to goodness, I’m rather pleased about that but I’m sure I’ll say quite a lot before the day is out.”
RTE stars will be at the wedding, which comes 10 years after the couple first met in a bar.
And Anne – who also be celebrating the marriage of her partner David McGrattan’s son – said she expects to need a big lie down after it all.
“I’ll be in need of 36 hours sleep I’d imagine on Sunday after the weddings,” she told the Herald. “But hey, the sun is shining and it’ll be great.”
