Anna Daly has revealed an Ireland AM viewer has been sending her letters from prison.
The 43-year-old said the letters are “harmless fun”, but admitted she hasn’t looked into the identity of her mystery admirer.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, Anna said: “I’ve one guy who sends me letters from jail. It started like I’ll see you for coffee at 11 or I’m looking forward to a visit on Tuesday at 11.”
“I haven’t done too much research on him as I’m afraid of what I’ll find, when I got the first letter it nearly fell out of my hand with the shock.”
“I get the odd postcard from him now, his prison number is even on the envelope,” she explained.
“He watches the show and he’s just another viewer communicating, it’s one of those really old school things to do, I think he’s just writing in the hope of making a connection, it’s harmless fun.”
