Angela Scanlon has revealed that she’s landed her own radio show on BBC Radio 2.
This year is going to be huge for the Irish presenter, as she’s currently expecting her first child with her husband Rory Horgan.
Taking to Instagram, the flame-haired star shared a promotional photo for her new show.
“First pinch-me-WTF moment coming in early this year… So happy to announce I’ll be joining some of my absolute broadcasting hero’s at Team @bbcradio2 as the host of the early Sunday show!!” she wrote.
“Now all I have to do is stay awake,” she added.
Angela confirmed the news after BBC Radio 2 announced a range of schedule changes this morning, with new programmes and series, as well as a refresh of its specialist music programming.
According to their website, “Early Sunday mornings will have a new sound with Angela Scanlon on Sunday from 4am-6am. Join Angela as she picks and plays the ultimate soundtrack to get you through those early hours.”
