Amy Huberman has shared the sweet way she celebrated Brian O’Driscoll’s birthday in lockdown.
The sports star turned 42 on January 21st, and Amy took it upon herself to make her husband a chocolate birthday cake.
In a series of hilarious posts on Instagram, the actress turned to her Instagram followers for some baking advice.
Posting a photo of a chocolate sponge cake in parchment paper, Amy wrote: “A question to the baking badasses!”
“If I try remove this from the baking paper will everything collapse? (Cake, followed by me).”

In the comment section, Amy’s friends and followers offered their advice, including her husband Brian.
The former Irish rugby star commented: “I know I wasn’t meant to look at this but I feel I have a vested interest in it so wait for it to cool then turn it upside down on the wire tray and peel off the parchment (slowly). As you were…”
Amy later shared a photo of Brian holding the finished product, admitting she was “too afraid” to touch the fragile cake.
The Finding Joy star wrote: “Happy joint bday to the gardener, painter, baker, PE teacher.”

Amy confessed she “was too afraid to peel off that paper in the end. Or even take it off the cooling rack.”
“My skillz have no bounds. And listen I haven’t put the pots away. Or gotten dressed but sure listen, hopeful to do before midnight. Ps actually wouldn’t recommend eating that cake TBH Brian,” she added.
Later that day, Amy’s homemade creation was overshadowed by a professional cake that was delivered to their house.
Sharing a photo of both cakes on Instagram, the mother-of-three wrote: “Okay okay this is a really tough one but who wore the happy birthday best….?!?? 🤔”

“This cake was delivered today and it’s veeeeeery close. I mean if you close your eyes and don’t taste either it’s literally neck and neck,” she joked.
“Okay it’s the Emily Ratajkowski of cakes and my cake might go away now and brush its hair and put on some lippie ‘k bye now.”
The news comes after Amy and Brian recently welcomed their third child, a baby boy named Ted, on December 28th.
The couple, who tied the knot back in 2010, are also parents to Sadie, 7, and Billy, 5.
