Amber Gill has slammed Greg O’Shea’s latest twitter response as “pathetic”.
The Love Island star won the summer series last year alongside the Limerick man, but there’s clearly no love lost between the pair.
After Amber, 23, threw shade at the rugby star by Tweeting: “Can you believe it’s been a whole year since I won Love Island”. To everyone’s surprise Greg publicly replied to the Tweet, writing: “congrats”.
After his response went viral Amber hinted that she wasn’t actually throwing shade and that “unhappy” people can “interpret everything as bitter and shade throwing”.
She also replied to a follower suggesting that her Tweet was simply a “harmless comment”.
MISINTERPREATATION #1
Shade throwing is my speciality
being able to differentiate shade throwing from a harmless comment is what I’m talking about not everything is shade https://t.co/COEMgjo9kX— Ambs (@AmberRoseGill) July 31, 2020
when people are unhappy within themselves
they interpret everything as bitter and shade throwing,
let them misinterpret they cannot comprehend someone being unproblematic and unbothered.
We don’t need any more negativity in 2020 let them be on their bullshit— Ambs (@AmberRoseGill) July 31, 2020
But it seems the reality star was definitely rubbed up the wrong way by the Twitter conversation.
A full week later the Love Islander replied to a comment on her TikTok, saying that Greg’s response had been “pathetic”.
A fan had commented that she thought Greg’s Tweet was “gas’ but Amber replied: “Is gas pathetic? Cos yeah same.”
