Amber Gill has told the Loose Women panel that she wanted to make things work with Love Island partner Greg O’Shea.
Appearing on the show this morning, the reality TV show winner claimed that the rugby player dumper her via text, despite his insistence that he did not.
“From my point of view I still wanted to make it work,” she said.
“There was a call a few days prior just chatting- not specifically to do with that. But definitely on that day it was like a text.”
“We were texting each other, but that’s why I had to cancel.”
Jane Moore then asked: “Do you think he misinterpreted something you said or do you think you said something that was open to misinterpretation and he seized on that?”
Amber replied, saying: “I think there was a bit of miscommunication, but if you don’t want to be someone, you don’t want to be with somebody.”
She also claimed that she was not impressed with how little effort Greg allegedly put into their relationship.
“Basically all I wanted was a bit of effort from him to come to London or Newcastle to come and see me.”
“I was just like, ‘I’m going to have to give up if you don’t put the effort in.’ Then it was just like, ‘Ok’.”
