Amanda Byram and Yvonne Connolly both up for Sinead Desmond’s Ireland AM job

Amanda Byram and Yvonne Connolly are both being considered to replace Sinead Desmond on Ireland AM.

The TV3 star left the station after over a decade, after she reportedly asked for more money and was denied, alleging that her male co-hosts were paid more than her.

According to The Irish Mail On Sunday, producers are looking at Dancing With The Stars co-host Amanda Byram for the job.

The Dublin TV star has hosted huge shows over the years, including US hit The Swan.

Although Amanda has been living in the UK and California, TV bosses are trying to get her back to Ireland full time.

And it looks like she’s going head-to-head with her former best friend Yvonne Connolly.

The duo were inseparable back in their modelling days, and now producers have both stars in mind for the role.

Yvonne has already impressed TV3 bosses with her slots on The Six O’Clock Show.
