Amanda Brunker has admitted that Bono is bored by her constantly banging on about their friendship.
The former Miss Ireland insists she knows a lot of people and the U2 star – who she recently interviewed in bed at the Oscars – isn’t her only famous pal.
But Amanda, 40, doesn’t want people to only know her as Bono’s best friend.
She added: “I’d be good friends with Blathnáid [Ní Chofaigh] and apparently there’s some famous fellah I’m meant to be friends with [Bono].

“I have to be very careful talking about it. If you talk about it, it’s the only thing people focus on.
“It bores me and I’m sure it bloody well bores him too. Because I’ve been around for 100 years I tend to have met a lot of people.
“I’m friendly with a lot of people from the Dublin scene. The great thing is, if you do end up in Lillie’s on a Friday night, you tend to know a lot of people.”
She added in a Woman’s Way interview that she has become a “terrible friend” as she gets older.

“As I’ve gotten older I’ve found I’ve become a terrible friend. I haven’t got time to catch up with everybody,” she said.
“It’s horrible but I keep telling my friends to hang on in there, I will be a good friend again when my kids grow up and I have all this free time.
“I see my best friend once every God knows how long then I realise I haven’t spoken to her in months so that’s one of the kind of casualties of getting older.”
