Aisling O’Loughlin has revealed motherhood isn’t always a happy time for women.
The mum-of-two has admitted that being a mum can be a wonderful time but a very emotional one.
“Don’t expect to be happy all the time. Motherhood is wonderful but there are times when you’re lonely, exhausted, bored and downright teary. And that’s ok!” she admitted.

“It’s good to factor these things in ahead of time so you don’t feel like a failure,” she said in her column for RSVP magazine.
The TV3 star has admitted that expecting mothers will feel better if they prepare for the highs and lows of motherhood.
“If you’re one of the lucky ones to bypass them, all the better,” she added.
It comes after the Xpose darling recently revealed she had an awkward run-in with Anne Hathaway on the red carpet.
