RTE star Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain has revealed she wants to marry boyfriend Ryan Tubridy – within 10 years.
The Getaways presenter admitted that she can see herself being a bride, and asked if she’d like to be one in the next decade admitted: “That would be nice”.
But former Rose of Tralee Aiobhinn insisted it is “nothing I am planning at the minute”.
And the Trinity beauty, who recently moved in with Ryan, also revealed she doesn’t want to have a big family.
She said: “I wouldn’t like to have five children – or five boys actually. Although I wouldn’t mind having boys but not five.”
Last month, at the launch of his new book, Tubridy called the 30-year-old the woman who “keeps me afloat”, his “rock” and referred to her as “mo ghra” – my love.
But Aoibhinn admitted she hates being defined by the 2fm host, 40, in an attack on Ireland’s “WAG culture”.
She said: “I think it is important that nobody is defined by their relationship — and I think it is especially important for women.
“It is completely sexist. And it annoys me no end because I have been working in this industry for eight years.
“But I hope that I have been able to progress in this career because I’m good at what I do and because I’m easy to work with.
“And not because I happen to be friends with someone or not because I happen to be going out with someone.
“I think we should be in a day and age now where women aren’t defined by their relationships.
“I know we have got this WAG culture and everything but it doesn’t have to pervade all of what you do.”
However Aiobhinn told the Sunday Independent that their relationship is built on a mutual love of reading.
She added: “We have very different tastes. I like novels, I like stories, I like historical novels, I like escaping.”
