Ailbhe Garrihy ‘blown away’ by kind messages after losing her beloved dog Bobby

Her dog sadly passed away earlier this week

Ailbhe Garrihy has revealed she’s “completely blown away” by the kind messages she has received, after losing her beloved dog Bobby.

The marketing manager’s two-year-old Maltese sadly passed away on Tuesday, after he got into an “awful accident”.

After sharing the news of Bobby’s death, Ailbhe and her family received thousands of supportive messages on social media.

Taking to Instagram this morning, Ailbhe shared a photo of Bobby’s collar, and wrote: “We’ve been completely blown away by all the comments, messages, texts and outpour of love over the past 24 hours.”

“Personally I’ve taken so much comfort from reading them and knowing how much Bob was loved by so many.”

“So many dog lovers who understand this feeling so well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️”

Ailbhe finished her post by encouraging her followers to “stay home” this weekend, and told people to watch her sister Doireann’s Instagram highlight dedicated to Bobby – which features some of their “best memories”.

On this week’s episode of The Gosscast, Goss.ie founder Ali Ryan and Editor Kendra Becker chat about the celebrities who are donating millions to help amid the coronavirus crisis, and the serious drama on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Plus, the girls discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s controversial move to Hollywood.
