PIC: Aidan Turner goes shirtless again for the fourth season of Poldark

Aidan Turner has stripped off again for the new series of Poldark.

The new season of the hit BBC show airs next week, and it looks like fans wont be disappointed – as a steamy new shot of Aidan’s character, Ross Poldark, was released on Thursday.

The Irish hunk showed off his toned physique, posing bare chested with only a pair of beige trousers on.

The still shows his character emerging from the sea, giving us serious Daniel Craig vibes in ‘Casino Royale’.

Speaking about his latest shirtless scene, the 34-year-old said it wasn’t as glamorous or as sexy as it looked – saying it was “pretty cold” the day of shooting, and that “for a lot of reasons, it wasn’t pleasant.”

The actor famously bared his chest in the first season of the show, which sent fans into a frenzy and caused huge media attention for weeks. Aidan seemed to take issue with all the attention, saying that Poldark is “not a stripper show”.

The actor and his co-star Eleanor Tomlinson were recently in the news, after it was revealed that Aidan was receiving a higher salary than her.

Eleanor, who plays Demelza on the show, believes that she and her co-star are “equal leads of the show” and therefore the pay should be equal.

Poldark season four returns to BBC One on Sunday 10th June.
