MORE acts added to the 2FM Xmas Ball line-up

The event will be headlined by The Script

RTÉ 2FM and MCD announced the return of The 2FM Xmas Ball in aid of The ISPCC earlier this week.

The event will take place at the 3Arena on December 19th 2017, and will be headlined by The Script.

They also revealed that The Script will be joined by The Coronas, Gavin James, Hudson Taylor and Wild Youth to perform live on the night – however, now it’s been revealed that more acts have been added to the line-up.

They’ve announced that Hermitage Green and Little Hours will also hit the stage at the 2FM Xmas Ball.

Last year’s event raised over €460,000 for the ISPCC, and once again the 2FM Xmas Ball will be hosted by all 2FM presenters including Nicky Byrne & Jenny Greene, Eoghan McDermott, Bernard O’Shea, Jennifer Zamparelli and Keith Walsh, Tracy Clifford and more.

Dan Healy Head of RTÉ 2FM and Radio Strategy said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be heading into our 3rd year with the 2FM Xmas Ball in aid of the ISPCC which is a very important event in our calendar.”

“Judging by the amount of texts we are receiving from our listeners regarding this year’s ball, I am certain we’ll again raise a huge amount of money for a cause that is close to all our hearts at 2FM.

“This year’s line up is another great showcase of top Irish music talent, all of whom are great live performers. It’ll be great to be back in the 3Arena working with Caroline Downey and her team at the ISPCC and I can’t wait for the 19th of December.”

All parties involved with the 2FM Xmas Ball are providing their services free of charge on the night including artists, organisers and 3Arena. The complete funding of the concert goes towards the financial support and aid of the 24 hour phone-line and the ISPCC services dedicated to helping children.

Tickets cost €39.50, and they go on sale this Friday, November 10th at 9am from the following outlets: Ticketmaster outlets nationwide, 24 hr Hotline: 0818 719 300 24 hr, or online: www.ticketmaster.ie
