A huge change has been made to this year’s Longitude line-up

One of the headline acts has pulled out

Chance The Rapper has pulled out of this year’s Longitude line-up, but he’s already been replaced by a major artist.

In a statement, festival organisers said: “Unfortunately Chance The Rapper is no longer able to perform at Longitude 2019.

Refusing to disappoint fans, they added: “We are delighted to announce that Stormzy will headline the Saturday night.”

The news comes just months after Cardi B was added to the Longitude 2019 line-up. The rapper was meant to play at the festival last year, but pulled out after she announced that she was pregnant with her first child, Kulture.

Cardi and Stormzy will join performers such as ASAP Rocky and Future as headlining acts.

Meanwhile, Anne-Marie, Vince Staples, Gunna, Trippie Redd, Flatbush Zombies, Brockhampton, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Uzi Vert and many more artists will perform across the weekend.

Longitude is set to take place the 5-7 July 2019.
