Mairead Ronan has admitted some people thought she had become overweight recently when she was in fact pregnant.
The radio star announced the news recently on The Ian Dempsey Show that she is expecting her first child with husband Llouis Ronan.
Already mum to 9-year-old son Dara, the Today FM producer revealed she was taunted for her weight on social media before she announced the news.

“They were talking about my belly, which most definitely isn’t a beer belly –as I haven’t had alcohol for a while because I’m pregnant,” she told Ian.
The 35-year-old joked she was “only going to get fatter” as time progresses and she’s due to give birth in the summer.
Mairead married husband Louis last year at an intimate ceremony in Tipperary.
