Louis Walsh has revealed the secret to his eternal youth.
The former X Factor judge has enjoyed good health is whole life and reckons it all comes down to good genes and swearing off alcohol.
“For someone who never goes to the gym and never looks after themselves I’m in pretty good shape,” he said.
“I have always been healthy and have never been in hospital. It must be the genes.

“There are nine in our family and I’m the second oldest. Everyone is well and no one is in jail and that’s a good thing for an Irish family,” he joked.
Meanwhile, the Mayo native opened up about his one health ailment – his hearing.
The 63-year-old has suffered from hearing loss thanks to years spent in the music industry.
“I’ve worked in the music industry since I was 15 and have had the pleasure of listening to some great – and not so great – acts over the years,” he told Express.co.uk.

“I go to an awful lot of live gigs where you come away with your ears buzzing. That was kind of normal – your ears would always be ringing the next day.”
After the exit of Nick Grimshaw and hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack from The X Factor, Louis is expecting big changes to the show this year.
“I think Simon is going to change a lot of things this year. You have to freshen up shows. Simon has tried to do that but he didn’t do it in the right way.”
