It’s gelfie time! Winners snap selfies with their Gossies

A major night on the entertainment calender, The Gossies brought the biggest stars together to celebrate the year that was in showbiz, fashion, TV, film, business and digital.

Completely voted for by you, the Goss.ie readers, winners took to their social media to thank everyone for their new coveted Gossie award.

Picking up the award for Best Female TV Presenter, MTV host Laura Whitmore was quick to share her impressive award on Instagram.

“Thank you @goss.ie for my Best Female Presenter award,” she captioned her pic with her Gossie.

Girl Boss winner and Cocoa Brown founder Marissa Carter couldn’t contain her excitement with her brand spanking new Gossie.

The beauty tycoon not only took to the stage but her social media to thank all those voted for her.

Social media star James Patrice swept the boards at last night’s awards – picking up both Best Snapchat Star and Best Newcomer.

Beating off stiff competition, the Malahide native had to rush to the event from Killarney to receive his honours and couldn’t help but admit he was “sweatin'” accepting the awards.

“Actually SWEATIN’ to have won Best Newcomer and Best Snapchat Star at #TheGossies2016 – Thanks so much to everyone who voted, and thanks to @goss.ie for an amazing evening – the s*** is runnin down me leg Fidelma,” he hilariously wrote.

Most Stylish Man proved to be a tough category but TV3’s Deric Hartigan managed to beat off stiff competition to nab the coveted award.

Rocking up in a navy three-piece suit, the presenter was suited and booted to accept his Gossie award.

Meanwhile, beauty blogger Grace Mongey of Faces By Grace was in complete shock after her win.

Taking home the Best Blogger honour, the Dubliner took to her Instagram to thank everyone for their votes.

“I am actually in shock!!!! I just won best blogger at the #gossies2016 thank you all soooooo much for voting for me. I am shaking,” she captioned her Gossie selfie.

While Best Celebrity Couple winners Karl Broderick and Alan Hughes couldn’t thank the Goss.ie readers enough for their award.
