Former X-Factor winner Matt Cardle has spoken out about the rumors that Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle slid into his DMs.
Commenting on their alleged message exchange, he told Lorraine that the entire rumour has been blown out of proportion.
“It was so little then, if not nothing,” he told the talk show host.

“It’s nothing now. It was nothing. It was absolutely nothing, it’s funny what can be made of nothing nowadays.”
A source previously told The Sun that: “Matt couldn’t believe a Hollywood star like Meghan would even know who he was so he was very flattered and they chatted a little bit online before she suggested meeting up.”
However, Matt denied this rumour on This Morning a number of weeks ago.
“I don’t know where that came from. I did read something over the weekend,” he said at the time.
“I also read about looking for an Englishman, I don’t get why they’re doing this to her.”
The messages were alleged to have been sent back in 2015.
