The Royal Family have released the first images from the wedding of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Windsor, with just 20 guests.

The Queen and Prince Phillip both attended, posing alongside the newlyweds from a distance.

While Edoardo’s 4-year-old son acted as his Paige Boy and Best Man, Beatrice’s sister Eugenie acted as Maid of Honour.

The couple then hosted a party at Royal Lodge in Windsor, Prince Andrew and Sarah Fegurson’s home, with their guests sleeping in glamping pods on the premises.

According to reports the Queen lent Beatrice the tiara she wore at her own wedding, and a vintage gown the Monarch wore to a film premiere in 1962.

Sharing photos on the official Royal Family Instagram page, they wrote:

“Congratulations to HRH Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi!

“Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi celebrated their wedding with their closest family.‬”

“The happy couple are pictured with Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

“Princess Beatrice wore a vintage dress by Norman Hartnell and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, both belonging to Her Majesty The Queen. The tiara was worn by Her Majesty on her wedding day in 1947.

It comes after rumours the wedding was held in secret to avoid negative press, after the the ongoing scrutiny of Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice’s father.
