Suits star Wendell Pierce has claimed that he warned Meghan Markle that her life would change forever if she pursued her relationship with Prince Harry.
Appearing on Desert Island Discs, he told the host Lauren Lavern that he has not seen Meghan since she finished filming the legal drama series.
He claimed that his parting words to the actress turned royal included a warning about how her life would be impacted by becoming a royal.

“When we had the final scenes I said: ‘Listen, your world is going to be forever changed, and no matter where you are, you can always know that you have a friend in me,'” he said
“That was the last time I got to speak to her – and it was great.”
The actor, who played the role of Meghan’s character’s father in Suits, worked alongside the actress for four years.
“It was great,” he recalled.
“She’s a really good actress and was always sweet, always kind.”
Wendell’s interview comes after Meghan and Harry opened up about the pressures of living in the royal spotlight, and announced that they would be taking a six week break from royal duty.
