Princess Eugenie has shared a sweet new photo with her baby boy.
The 31-year-old welcomed her first child with her husband Jack Brooksbank in February, who they named August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
Marking Environment Day on Saturday, the new mum shared a series of snaps of nature, including a photo of her and her son beside a bed of daffodils.
She captioned the post: “environment Day 2021!! Thank you world for giving us such a beautiful place to live.”
“To mark this day I wanted to share some photos over the years (and more recent ones 👶🏻) that remind me how amazing our environment is and how we must always protect it.”
August’s middle name ‘Philip’ pays tribute to his great-grandfather, The Duke of Edinburgh, who sadly passed away on April 9 at the age of 99 – exactly two months after August was born.
August is the ninth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, and the first grandchild of Eugenie’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Eugenie married Jack, a wine merchant from London, at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on October 12, 2018.
It comes after Eugenie’s sister Beatrice announced she is expecting her first child with her husband Edoardo Mapell.
