Prince William has shared an update on ‘amazing’ Kate’s cancer treatment.
In March, the Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis.
The Prince of Wales, who is currently traveling alone to South Africa, also described how his daughter Princess Charlotte gave him a unique present.

When asked how his wife Kate was doing ahead of tonight’s Earthshot Prize presentations in Cape Town, he said, “Thanks, she’s doing pretty well. Hopefully, she’s watching and cheering me tonight.”
“She’s been amazing this whole year and I know she’ll be really keen to see tonight be a success.”
She declared that she had finished her treatment in September and that “staying cancer-free” was now her top priority.

Although he has continued his own public duties throughout the year, Prince William has not spoken about his wife’s diagnosis.
After participating in the Earthshot Awards rehearsals tonight, William took questions.
He started the environmental award in 2021 in an attempt to bring some hope to the climate issue discussion.

In October, Kate made her first community appearance since her cancer diagnosis.
The pair had a private meeting with the families of Bebe King, age six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, age seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, age nine, who sadly died in the July attack at The Hart Space community facility.
In addition, one of the dance instructors directing the class was introduced to the royal couple.

Since arriving in Cape Town, he has been seen sporting a bracelet that bears the word “papa,” which was gifted to him by his daughter, Princess Charlotte.
He explained: “This is a relic from a Taylor Swift concert that my daughter decided that she wanted to create a bracelet for, and she gave it to me when I came away so I’ve promised her that I’d wear it and try not to lose it while I was out here.”
