Prince Louis makes adorable debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony at Trooping the Colour

Prince Louis made his debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony today, as the royal family gathered to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday at Trooping the Colour.

Every year, members of the royal family join the monarch to watch an RAF fly past from the balcony of Buckingham Palace – and Louis, 1, joined the celebrations for the first time.

The young Prince was brought out onto the balcony by his mother Kate Middleton, before she handed him over to his dad Prince William.

The adorable tot beamed as he excitedly waved at the crowds outside Buckingham Palace, and watched the planes fly past.

Trooping the Colour is the official commemoration of the Queen’s birthday, and the ceremony involves a military parade – which involves over 1,400 officers, 200 horses and over 400 musicians.

Meghan Markle also attended the exciting event, taking a break from her maternity leave.

Meghan has been on maternity leave since April, and welcomed her first child, a son named Archie, with Prince Harry on May 6th.

We briefly saw her earlier this month when she introduced her son to the world, but she’s been hiding out at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ever since.
