Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launch official Instagram account – seperate to Kensington Palace

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially launched their own Instagram account – further separating themselves from Kensington Palace.

The pair have been featured on the official Kensington Palace account to date, alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton – but will now have their own social media account.

Sharing their first post on Instagram, the Royal couple wrote: “Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.

“We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal”.

In the post the couple shared some of their favourite images together, including a stand-alone photo of Harry in the army, and Meghan meeting members of the public.

They also revealed an official Meghan and Prince Harry logo – which features an M and H intertwined, with a crown on top.

Many are speculating that this could be where we get the first look of the Royal baby, who is set to arrive in the coming weeks.
