Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall set to visit Ireland in March

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are planning a visit to Ireland in March.

The royal couple will reportedly visit the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary next month, shortly after St. Patrick’s Day.

According to Tipperary Live, Charles and Camilla will also visit Coolmore Stud, Cahir Castle, Birr Castle and Bru Boru while in Ireland.

The visit has not yet been formally announced but planning is said to be at an advanced stage, and staff from the British Embassy have already visited the proposed locations over the last number of weeks.

A source told the publication: “This is a major boost to the town of Cashel and Tipperary in general. There will be great excitement in the locality once this becomes common knowledge and preparations will be in full swing very soon.”

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are currently self-isolating, after testing positive for Covid-19.
