Meghan Markle has revealed she made a desperate plea to Billie Eilish after meeting a teenage victim of the Los Angeles wildfires.
In a video shared on her recently-launched Instagram account, the Duchess of Sussex recalled visiting a community where their homes were “left in ashes” with her husband Prince Harry.
During their visit, the couple met a mother and her 15-year-old daughter who had lost everything in the fires.

Meghan noticed the teen looking around what was left of their home for a T-Shirt she had bought at a recent Billie Eilish concert, which had been left in the washing machine.
Meghan then made it her mission to get her the t-shirt back, and managed to secure her a massive haul of merchandise from Billie herself.
Showing off the merch, Meghan said, “You guys, I don’t even know what all this stuff means but it’s signed for her,” before joking that she was too “old” to understand the significance of the items.
The mother-of-two went on to thank Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and his model wife Behati Prinsloo for helping get the message to Billie.
“You guys helped get this over the line in a big way,” she said.
Meghan ended her video by saying: “Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires.
“Thanks to everyone who made this possible but most importantly, thank you to our first responders who are the community’s real heroes.”
