Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has officially been titled the biggest social climber in the UK.
The unflattering accolade was awarded to her in the October issue of society magazine Tatler, on news stands today.
The tome detailed how the Suits actress reached “the pinnacle of the greasy pole.”
“Just cast an eye on today’s Society and you’ll soon see how high the underprivileged have soared,” the feature opens.
“Not to mention those who pretend to be less grand than they really are.”
“She was privately educated and her scapegrace father won an Emmy for lighting direction but the Ralph & Russo-clad beacon of change has found a role that suits her to perfection: a tungsten toughie to drag the royal family into the 21st century,” said the mag.
Meghan has faced constant criticism since she wed Prince Harry, with this title being the most recent blow
Also on the list is Jerry Hall for “marrying billionaire media magnate Rupert Murdoch.”
Robbie William’s daughter, 6-year-old Teddy, also made the list for being a flower girl at Princess Eugenie’s wedding.
