Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Meghan Markle is in labour.
Prince Harry and his wife are understood to be having the baby in Windsor today with many believing she may have already given birth.
In a statement Buckingham Palace said she went into labour “in the early hours of the morning” and that she “was by her Royal Highness’ side”.
They also said a statement will be released when she has given brith.
It was believed that April 28th was Meghan’s official due date, with reports this weekend that the former actress was set to be induced.
Meghan, 37, has been staying with her mum, Doria Ragland at Frogmore Cottage, Windsor, for more than a week now.
Unlike Kate Middleton and Princess Diana, Meghan has said she won’t be showing the world her newborn until she has time to bond with the baby and her husband,
Meghan and Harry’s baby will be seventh in line to the throne of England.
Many names for their child have been rumoured, with most believing the pair are expecting a baby girl.
First there were reports the pair would name their child Allegra, apparently the name Princess Diana wanted to give her child if she ever had a girl.
And just this weekend a huge amount of bets were placed for the name Ivy.
