The Best Moments from Love Island All Stars Ahead of the Final

Love Island: All Stars has come to an end for another year as fans wait to see which couple will be crowned the winner.

The spin-off series returned to our screens on January 13th as we once again saw familiar faces return to the villa for a second chance at finding love – with the final to take place on Monday 17th.

As we get ready to say goodbye to All Stars for another year, we’ve decided to look back on the best moments from this season.

Heart Rate Challenge

From ITV

A highlight of the season was the return of the Heart Rate Challenge.

The fan-favourite Challenge returned sent pulses racing in the villa.

The top moment saw Curtis was back in THAT signature samba outfit, giving a dazzling dance performance before things got heated with Ekin-Su.

At the results, some Islanders are delighted by whose heart was raised by whom, while others are left green with envy.

However, most were shocked after Curtis rose nearly all of the girl’s heart rates the most.

As the dancer did his signature moves, the girls screamed and ran away.

Another highlight during the challenge was during Harriett’s performance, whe she hilariously walked Ronnie like a dog behind her as he followed.

Ronnie’s turn was equally funny, with the footballer struggling to remove his rip-off trousers.

Harriett’s Bombshell Entrance

From ITV

Earlier in the season, Harriett Blackmore made an iconic entrance during the Kissing Challenge.

During the challenge, Elma ensursed Ronnie has the best kiss and he rates her a 10 but things are got shaken up as Harriett entered the Villa whilst the boys are blindfolded and none the wiser.

Elma said “No f*****g way!”

From ITV

Making her way down the line of boys, Harriett eventually got to Ronnie for her final kiss as Elma, who was coupled up with Ronnie at the time, watched on.

Scott asked: “Who was that?” while Ronnie knew straight away it was Harriett.

This began the two exe’s reconciliation over the series.

Axed Islander’s returning to the Villa

From ITV

The Villa is still reeling from the shock announcement that the dumped Islanders will be the ones to decide who from the bottom three in the public vote will leave.

Ronnie says: “If they come tomorrow and throw shade at us, I’m going in because we don’t deserve votes.”

Luca reassures Catherine and Omar, telling them: “There’s no reason for you two to ever be there.”

Catherine adds: “What’s hard is that they’re two strong couples… hopefully the dumped Islanders can see what Omar and I have.”

Sammy says: “I got what I came here for anyway.”

The next afternoon, Catherine gets a text for the Islanders to gather around the firepit immediately.

India, Olivia, Marcel, Kaz, Montel, Nas, Ron, Danielle, Samie, Tina and Chuggs all enter, with their vote choices written – and hidden – on heart shaped chalkboards.

Samie entering the Villa

From ITV

Samie Elishi’s entrance into the Villa cause a rumble and tension between the Islanders.

After the bombshell walked in, Luca Bish has landed himself in some big trouble – with drama unfolding after.

While Luca has been in a strong couple with Grace Jackson over the past two weeks, that all changed during tonight’s episode when new bombshell Samie Elishi walked in.

The Islanders immediately detected a vibe between Samie and Luca, and Samie confessed he had slid into her DMs only a few months ago.

From ITV

Luca confessed to the boys that Samie’s arrival had left his head scrambled, and Grace seemed clearly threatened by her presence in the villa.

Towards the end of the episode, the Islanders sat down for a game of spin the bottle at the firepit.

The Islanders had to spin a bottle and read out a card with either a truth or dare for themselves or for the group to partake in.

As the game included kissing dares, Luca asked Grace, “Who would you want me to kiss?” and she admitted she’d prefer if he kissed her pal Catherine.

Grace then specifically told him not to pick Samie, and Luca replied, “Obviously.”

However, when Luca pulled a card daring him to snog an Islander, other than his partner, who was his “vibe” – he decided to kiss Samie.

Ekin and Curtis’ Fight

The drama kicked off between Ekin-Su and Curtis with the arrival of two bombshells earlier in the series – Sammy Root and Danielle Sellers.

Upon their arrival, the bombshells invited Elma and Curtis for a “sleepover” in the Hideaway – which didn’t go down well with Curtis’ partner Ekin-Su, who he’s been coupled up with since the start of the series.

While Curtis initially insisted that he was “closed off” with Ekin, things quickly got very friendly between him and Danielle in the Hideaway as they stayed up all night chatting.

Curtis appeared to change his tune as he was filmed telling Danielle that he “doesn’t really know” Ekin.

The following morning, they all returned to the main villa and Curtis told the boys that he had a lot in common with Danielle, and admitted he felt “confused”.

Things then took a turn when he caught up with Ekin after his night in the Hideaway with Danielle.

Ekin confessed she felt “worthless” and “betrayed” by him speaking to Danielle when she felt like they were “closed off”, but Curtis felt like she was overreacting and insisted that he had been respectful.

Following their chat, Curtis admitted Ekin’s reaction was pushing him away, as he was concerned she would have no trust in him outside of the villa.

At the end of the episode, Danielle pulled Curtis for a chat by the firepit, where he admitted that he regretted saying he was “closed off” with Ekin initially.

Ekin then came out to the garden to see the pair chatting, and quickly burst into tears as Ronnie came over to console her.

The following night resulted in a bizzare fight between the two, when Ekin came in all guns blazing – not backing down.

However, all of a sudden the fight ended after Curtis revealed he was talking to his mother again before entering the villa.

The caused Ekin to kiss Curtis – ending their fight abruptly which shock many of the other Islanders.

Scott leaving the Villa

One emotional but memorable moment was when Scott Thomas decided to leave the villa.

During the episode, Tina and Scott spoke and she told him: “If there’s something missing, I think I just need to know whether there is progression in this?”

Scott said: “Something is holding me back from going to the next level…I want to give you that, but I can’t if I don’t fully feel it. You fully deserve that.”

From ITV

Tina agreed: “I do.”

Afterwards, Tina was upset and the girls comforted her in the dressing room. Elma said of Scott: “You’ve had two blinding birds and there’s something missing for both of them, what do you want? Is no-one gonna tell him [Scott] cause I will…”

Scott overheard this and said: “Elma, come and tell me…”

The two argued over Scott’s decision as the other Islanders took sides.

From ITV

The next morning they speak again as Elma admitted she’s “riddled with guilt” for sending home Kaz, Montel and Nas to try and help Scott and Tina work.

Later in the day, Scott had made his decision. After first speaking it through with Luca who told Scott he “trusts him the most”, he gathered the group to the firepit to deliver the news.

Scott explained: “I don’t want this to be sad because I’ve had the best time ever, but I’ve made the decision to leave and I think it’s the right time. I don’t want everyone to be sad, I’m in a good place about it”.

Jason Derulo

The surprise musical performances are always a highlight from the series and this year was no exception.

After a dramatic night, the islanders prepared for another day in the villa.

That afternoon, Gabby got a text…

“Islanders, get ready for an incredible night because the Villa will host a VIP performance from an American superstar! #TalkDirtyToMe #WantToWantMe”

However, it was Curtis who caught the viewers attention during Jason Derulo’s show.
