Michael Owen has explained why his daughter Gemma always looks so serious on Love Island.
The 42-year-old football legend claimed that the 19-year-old always has her “game face on” when it’s time for competition.
Michael said: “Match day or if it’s a big competition, going into that ring, she turns into a horror. It’s like that’s it – you get your game face on and you can’t control it.”
He continued: “I didn’t want anyone talking to me on match day. In fact, or the day before. Just stay out of my way and let me do my business.”
“She’s the same, she’s horrible. Stay out of her way when a big competition’s coming round. That’s how much it means to you. Start focusing on the job in hand.”
Gemma is currently in a friendship couple with Italian Stallion Davide, after bombshell Danica stole Luca from her in last week’s recoupling.
