Love Island’s Samantha Kenny has sparked romance rumours with a fellow islander.
The reality star was seen getting cosy with fellow Islander Sammy Root at a White Fox event in London on Friday.
Samantha appeared on this year’s series of the hit dating show, while Sammy won in 2023 with his ex Jess Harding.
In photos obtained by the DailyMail, the pair are seen chatting and getting cosy at the event with Sammy wrapping his arm around her waist.
Earlier this month, Samantha said Joey Essex dumping Grace Jackson was a “taste of her own medicine”.
The 26-year-old was coupled up with Joey, 33, for two weeks before his former flame Grace entered the show as a bombshell.
The Liverpool native was quickly sidelined by the former TOWIE star, and forced to watch the exes rekindle their romance before she was brutally dumped from the villa.
Just days after Samantha left, Jessy Potts entered the villa as a bombshell, and it wasn’t long before she turned Joey’s head – leaving Grace single.
Speaking to MailOnline about Joey dumping Grace for Jessy, Samantha said: “Now she knows how I felt.
“But at least Jessy went on the terrace to kiss Joey but she did it on the daybeds right in front of me, she’s had a taste of her own medicine now.”
Recalling the heartbreak of watching Joey and Grace rekindle their romance, Samantha continued: “I felt horrible… what I wanted in two weeks he gave her in four hours. It wasn’t nice, especially as I was still there.”
“I felt like saying, don’t forget about me, I am still here. At the end of the day I’m just a girl whether we were on the outside or on Love Island, it wasn’t the best situation.”
When Samantha was dumped from the villa, Joey tried to make amends with her before she left – but the 26-year-old refused to speak to him.
Looking back, the makeup artist said she has no regrets as she wanted Joey to “feel bad”.
She said: “No, I don’t regret it at all. I wanted Joey to feel bad. By the time he gets out the villa I definitely think I’ll be laughing it off, I’m a big girl, I’ll get over it.”
“But in the heat of that moment, I wanted him to feel bad. I hope it goes well for him… I would never wish any harm on anyone; at the end of the day I hope he finds love. I was true to myself and aside from Joey there wasn’t anyone else in the villa for me.”
