2FM star Ryan Tubridy has hinted he’ll be moving back to Radio 1 in the future.
The RTE presenter had been the golden child of the station, but has since slipped to No 2 behind Nicky Byrne.
And Late Late Show host Tubs – who took over the morning slot after Gerry Ryan’s death – isn’t ruling out going back to his former home.

“At the moment I’m enjoying sitting at the back of the class acting the maggot,” he said.
“But some day I might be ready to go back to the blackboard.”
However Tubridy doesn’t feel a move would stop all the fun he gets to have at 2FM, such as telling us about his sex life.
“Radio 1 is plenty of fun – just with a furrowed brow, more classical music and a lot less laughter,” he insisted.
